These customized bolted clamp pipe shoes with PTFE, 25% glass filled slide plates were fabricated for a radiant syngas cooler piping system in Indiana. The supports were designed for 24″ diameter piping with a pressure of 2,256 psig at 350°F. The axial displacement is +/- 1.326″ facilitated by slide plates on three quadrants. These pipe shoes were custom designed and fabricated entirely from carbon steel with a hot-dipped galvanized finish.Read More
These pipe clamp-guides were custom designed and fabricated for a 4″ pipe vertical run in an LNG facility. They measure 16″ from the bottom of the W-beam to the centerline of pipe and designed for temperatures up to 750°F. The clamp-guides were fabricated from carbon steel and include a hot-dipped galvanize finish.Read More
PT&P designed and manufactured custom elevated pipe shoe-clamp supports for part of a palletizer transfer line in a polymer plant. The custom supports were designed to prevent cracking in the welds and grout base due to severe vibration in the line. The assemblies have an overall height of 48″ with an adjustable load column. The clamp-shoes are 13″ wide by 14″ long, and designed for a 12″ diameter aluminum pipe. The assemblies are carbon steel with a hot-dipped galvanize finish and include a unique laminated vibration dampening lining for the clamp.
These stainless steel trunnions are designed to support a vertical pipe used in an LNG plant. The trunnions will support stainless steel pipes with diameters ranging between 24″ and 42″. The diameter of the trunnions ranges in size from 12″ to 22″. The overall length is 34″. All of the weld seams were 100% dye-penetrant tested before being shipped to the plant.Read More
These split T pipe shoes are fabricated from three types of steel including carbon steel, alloy steel, and stainless steel. They are painted with a two coat paint system that involves masking off the metal on the upper portion of the shoe to allow for welding in the field. The pipe shoes are 18″ in length and 4″ in height.Read More
The stands were completed with a hot-dipped galvanize finish. They were also designed with a neoprene lining in the saddle to prevent metal to metal contact in the field. The function of the pipe stand is to allow for adjustment of the support after expansion or contraction of the pipeline. The simplicity of the design allows for easy installation and maintenance of the support.Read More
These pipe shoes are fabricated from A-516 GR70 carbon steel. PTFE, 25% glass filled, material is bonded to a carbon steel plate, then welded onto the shoe to allow movement of the pipe during expansion and contraction. The pipe shoes range in size from 18″ to 28″ in width and 28″ to 43″ in length.Read More
Components of these Cylinder Pipe Guides (a.k.a. Spider Guides) include carbon steel plates, stock clamps, angles, and hot-dipped galvanized pipes. The Guides range in pipe size from 6″ to 16″. The maximum design temperature for the Spider Guides is 750ºF.
They are designed to control lateral pipe movement and maintain the alignment of the piping through its axial and contraction cycles. A single piping run uses multiple Spider Guides to avoid a fulcrum or an imposed lateral deflection on critical components.

Piping Technology & Products, Inc. designed and fabricated adjustable pipe stands to support ductile iron pipe. Due to ductile iron pipes having non-standard diameters, each of the supports were custom fabricated per the customers’ requirements regarding pipe diameter and elevation. All the supports were fabricated from carbon steel with an HDG finish and designed to provide nine inches (+/- 4.50″) of adjustment and each support has an 11″ x 11″ base plate.
(Left) Cradle type supports are designed with an installed height of 84″ from the base to the bottom of pipe (BOP).
(Middle) Flange type supports are designed with an installed height of 81-1/4″ from the base to the BOP.
(Right) Tee type supports are designed for an installed height of 77″ from base to BOP.
They will be used on horizontal piping and will be attached at their base to pre-case concrete pedestals. Each base plate has been pre-drilled to accept anchor bolts provided at the site. The pipe stand’s threaded adjustment column will allow field personnel to adjust the height of each support. They can also accurately place the pipe at the required elevation without using shims or modifying the concrete pedestal.Read More
This particular 24″ pipe shoe was specially designed and fabricated during a planned plant outage. Instead of the normal delivery time of 3-4 weeks, Piping Technology & Products, Inc. finished this project in just one week. This pipe shoe with clamps was designed for 12,900 lb. vertical and 3,000 lb. lateral load. This 1″ thick carbon steel pipe shoe was designed to handle 650°F and has a PTFE, 25% glass filled, slide plate installed to allow for axial movement.Read More
