Position Summary:
Design and develop piping parts into 3D models from concept through a testing phase for approvals by Project Manager; Design pre-insulated supports for cold and hot application for petrochemical refineries by using tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.; fabricate and validate the feasibility of new design; Perform inspections on variable and constant spring supports, hydraulic snubbers, & other pipe supports; investigate field problems including vibration, stress, misalignment on the pipeline, etc.; Review quality of installation of spring supports and expansion joints, and periodic adjustments on support.
Qualifications:
- Requires a Master’s degree in Systems Engineering
