PT&P manufactured 48” diameter pre-insulated pipe supports for a high temperature pipeline at a phenol plant in Texas. These hot shoes are designed for pipe sizes up to 48” in diameter. They include 6” thick by 4” width calcium silicate insulation, hot-dipped galvanized steel, and are designed for a load of 7,000 lb. This order consisted of six different types of supports such as variable assemblies, constant support assemblies, sway struts, and pre-insulated pipe supports. Standard quality tests were performed prior to shipment.

PT&P custom designed insulated supports for a cryogenic pipeline at an LNG facility in Australia. They are fabricated with 304L stainless steel plates and Micarta® G-10 insulation. Micarta® is designed to prevent LNG temperatures of -320°F from transferring to the base and surrounding pipe rack steel. The base plates are fabricated from carbon steel. These pipe saddles are designed to support pipes with dimensions ranging from 12”-18” in length, 6”-15” in width and 6”-40” in height. The nominal pipe size range is 8”-24” diameter. MTR’s were provided and non-destructive testing (PMI) was preformed, along with standard Q.C. inspection prior to shipment.

PT&P custom designed a total of 76 compact spring supports for an oil refinery in India. The housing is fabricated from A-36 carbon steel and hot-dipped galvanized to protect against corrosion. The “disc springs” are engineered using stainless steel Belleville washers, and are designed for large loads with small movements. They are 3” high, designed to support a load of 9000 lb. and movement of +/-.125” (upward). Each assembly underwent load testing prior to shipment.
