Thirty PT&P Fig. 70A Clamps for a Power Plant

Piping Technology and Products, Inc. recently designed and fabricated thirty PT&P Fig. 70A clamps to fit 14″ to 18″ pipes at a power plant in Florida. These clamps are designed for suspension of hot pipe lines where there is a high temperature and great thermal movement. The clamps are fabricated from SA 387 Gr. 22 alloy steel for temperatures of 1065F and loads of 8,000 lb. to 25,000 lb. These 160 to 395 lb. clamps have dimensions checked and a fit up test preformed prior to shipping.

Piping Technology & Products, Inc. recently fabricated horizontal upthrust constants for loads ranging from 24,000 lb. to 44,000 lb.  These Fig. PTP 200 type U constants are designed for a travel range of 4″ to 4 ½”. They are fabricated from A36 carbon steel with dimensions ranging from 60″x52″ to 80″x52″. To meet customer specified installation heights, angles were added to the base of each constant. Load testing was performed to ensure product quality prior to shipping.

Riser Clamp Assemblies with Neoprene Lining

Piping Technology and Products, Inc. custom designed eight sets of riser clamp assemblies for an oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico. These riser clamp assemblies were fabricated from API 2H GR. 50 carbon steel. They were designed to support vertical pipe lines on an offshore platform. Each set equipped with a neoprene lining consists of two clamps and a clamp stand. Several coats of marine paint finish were applied to the assemblies to prevent corrosion due to high salt water content and open air exposure.
