Piping Technology & Products, Inc. recently fabricated 48 PTP-200 type U and 54 PTP-100 type B constants for an oil refinery in Texas. The PTP 200 type U with base support constants are designed for operating loads ranging from 650 lbs. to 7700 lbs. and a travel range of 3″ to 4″. They are fabricated out of A36 carbon steel with dimensions ranging from 15″x22″ to 27″x38″. The PTP 100 type B constants are fabricated from A36 carbon steel with dimensions ranging from 11.5″x23″ to 12″x29″ and total travel of 3″ to 4″. These constants are designed for operation loads ranging from 1100 lbs. to 2800 lbs. Space restrictions required a customized compact design. Standard load testing was performed to ensure product quality prior to shipping.
