PT&P fabricated PTP-6 G-type variable spring supports for a coker replacement project in Kansas. The variables are comprised of two standard spring housing joined together with an intermediate bridge assembly. The bridge assembly is customized to match existing site conditions which allows for use in applications with limited space or interferences. They are 50″ in length, designed for an operating load of 15,000 lb. and fabricated from carbon steel with a hot-dipped galvanized finish. All variable assemblies underwent standard load and spring testing prior to shipment.

This webinar is over, view the recording at: Webinars
This Webinar will focus on installation and maintenance guidelines and offer valuable tips on inspecting a wide variety of pipe supports and expansion joints in your piping system. We will cover various pipe support applications and point out signs that indicate if a particular support needs replaced or adjusted. Obtain the knowledge you need to avoid the possibility of a potentially catastrophic situation. View examples of real world problems and see how we were able to solve them with timely and cost effective solutions.
Read More14 Foot Long Sway Struts Custom Designed for a Natural Gas Facility in Canada
PT&P custom designed sway struts for a pipeline in a natural gas facility located in Canada. The sway struts are fabricated from carbon steel and include a painted finish for corrosion protection. The lengths range from 106″ to 173″. They are capable of supporting loads up to 8,000 lb. and are designed to restrain movement in one direction while providing movement due to thermal expansion or contraction in another direction.
Read MoreF-Type Variable Spring Supports Designed for an LNG Facility
PT&P manufactured F-type variable spring supports for an LNG facility in Colorado. The variables installed heights range from 10-5/8″ to 21-1/16″. The F-Type pipe hanger assembly is used to support the pipe from below and are typically mounted to concrete pads via anchor bolts or welded to structural steel. The various springs shown are designed for operating conditions ranging from loads of 633 lb. to 6510 lb. As with all of our variable supports, these were quality checked with a 100% spring coil deflection test and a load cell calibration to set the assembly at the prescribed installed load.

Fronek Anchor/Darling Enterprises Inc., a division of PT&P designed and fabricated this hydraulic snubber assembly for a gas turbine in a natural gas-fired combined cycle generating power plant in Pennsylvania. This fig -510AD is designed for a 10,000 lb. load and a 6″ stroke. It measures 28-1/2″ pin-to-pin and has a 2-1/2″ diameter cylinder. It is designed for an operating temperature of 1052°F and a movement of 4-1/8″. This snubber was tested using the STADAS test machine prior to shipping.
Read MorePTFE Slide Plates Designed for an Oil Refinery in Texas
PT&P custom designed PTFE slide plates for an oil refinery in Texas. These slide plate assemblies are comprised of 3/32″ thick 25% glass filled (PTFE) slide plates bonded to hot dipped galvanized carbon steel backing plates. The assemblies measure 47-1/2″ long by 36-1/2″ wide and 45″ long by 16″ wide. PTFE material provides a low coefficient of friction, is easy to install, does not require surface treatments, or grouting, and is unaffected by weather conditions.
Structural Supports Designed for Instrument Panels in an LNG Facility
These structural supports were designed to mount instrument panels in a liquid natural gas facility in Australia. All 72 assemblies were fabricated from carbon steel with a hot-dipped galvanized finish. The dimensions are 68″ x 82″ x 10″ and all assemblies underwent quality control inspection prior to shipment.
